The Weekend

Hello!!!! Im very happy and sad at the same time! First off, my lovyfer Jennifer bought me a nice ring to wear to remind me of her! it is made of titanium and silver, and i will try to put a picture of it up here soon specifically for my mom to see! The second good thing to happen was i got a RAISE!!! yayaya a 12% raise for doing good work and having a good work ethic! And the thing that makes me sad is that i dropped my little laptop and his screen broke! going to cost me $230 to fix it! and it will probably be out of commission for a couple week waiting for the parts.

I Still owe everyone pictures of my fishes, so i will try to get those pictures and at least one picture of my new sexy ring up here by tomorrow.

New Fish Tank

I was browsing at Pet Habitat when i came across the perfect upgrade to my little 6 gallon fish tank, i found a 12 gallon all glass bow front tank with a little chip in the bottom back corner. Because of the little chip the owner of the store gave me half off! so the tank was only $35 !! After i got the tank home i thought up a good design for the tank, as i want to make this tank a planted freshwater tank. For the tank design i was thinking what would be best for my Pleco and my 3 Zebra Danio which i had in my old tank... So i was thinking i could put a big chunk of driftwood in the center of the tank, this will make the Pleco happy, with some Java moss in the front of the tank and some Java fern in the back of the tank!

Right after i got my fish transferred from the 6 gal to the 12 gal tank, i went back to the store and bought a chunk of Ironwood, and 10 pounds of river pebbles. Then the next day i went and bought an Anubias plant to put on the wood, then yesterday i went back to Big als and my lovyfer Jennifer bought me 3 more Zebra Danio, some Java moss, and 2 Java Ferns, so my tank is done for now, all i need to do is WAIT!

My New Laptop

I got the HP mini 1035NR a couple weeks ago like i was planning, and DAMN this this is awesome. The netbook isn't very fast for games, but for internet browsing and anything but gaming it is SWEET! Jennifer said my laptop was too slow, so a couple of days ago i bought a 2 gig stick of ram for it to speed it up and it helps alot, now i can have winamp playing, word, excel, and 20 tabs on firefox with no slowdown at all... Thinking of putting Windows 7 beta on it, might work...

I had one of the best weekends in a long time! My brother who is temporarily living with me went to saltspring for the weekend and i got the entire weekend with my love Jennifer! On Saturday we went to Cactus Club and had some very good food and then we just relaxed the entire weekend together, jennifer had a Report to work on so i helped her with that and we watched alot of TV! But other than that we just spent time together.

Im planning on getting a HP Mini 1035NR Netbook next weekend, i have already ordered the Neoprene Sleeve from Dell and im planning on getting a Bluetooth mouse from NCIX ill keep you all updated on that.

Now i actually have some real design work to do, even if it is redoing 150+ frames individually by hand! its still better than playing games and getting yelled at for no reason!

Fever for three days

For Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and most of sunday i had a fever of 100 (47.7) and no matter how many pills i took and sleep i got it just wouldn't go away... then finally on sunday evening it died off and i started to feel better! then i took a double dose of Nyquil and slept for 13 hours!!!

Woot! feel better already!!

Been super busy working two jobs, and now that i book my first vacation day this year (friday) i have a freaking fever!!! thats no fun.. Now im probably going to go home and sleep and play some games... Currently i am playing a bunch of games, Kotor 1, Kotor 2, evil genius, and a bit of Age of Conan when i feel like ganking people... Ill probably post later today also.

MY LEG!!!

I went for my first run in four months since i fell off a ladder and cut my leg open really badly... and all i can say is YOUCH!! The leg that i injured must have been sitting there doing nothing, cause this morning it hurts like hell! it feels like i have used it for years. Its ok though cause i promised myself i would get back into shape once my leg was healed, and i will.

Im Back into Age of Conan and damn it is fun, i just love the combat system soooooo much more than world of warcraft, its too bad not many people play AoC cause it would be alot more fun if there were a couple million more people to behead! If anyone wants to contact me in the game im a lv 62 assassin named Mary on the Cimmaria server.

Sick over the weekend...

Didn't have a very good weekend, i got a stomach flu on saturday and was sick till monday evening... no fun! but i did manage to play alot of games and get some work done around home which i guess is a good thing!

I was playing Two Worlds mostly, which is a good game but in the end it becomes a "login. walk to store. see what store has. buy good stuff. logout. repeat..." which isn't exactly my idea of fun. I also cancelled my WoW account for the 15th time int he last four years... It was just sitting there waiting for me to play it and i was sitting there waiting for my brother to play it and he was sitting there waiting for me to play it!!!!! Aggg... so i cancelled it. Upside is i might have been able to convince my brother to start playing Age Of Conan Which i loved but he didn't like cause you could get ganked way too easily and they nerfed his favorite class the ranger... Well they didn't exactly nerf it, they made it so that he couldn't one shot people 5 levels above him with an attack called Salvo... Good Riddance.

In other news, my brother is now looking for a place to live in burnaby near BCIT, we had a HUGE fight between four different people and it ended up he needs to move out, it is fun having him living with me but i much rather live my life alone with my beautiful jennifer!

Ok i need to get back to work, If anyone wants a review of pretty much any game i have played them ALL well at least all the english ones, I have over 200 games in my library and i have beat all but one. Mirrors Edge, which pissed me off soo much after playing it for 2 hours i wanted to kick my monitor in!

PAYDAY!!! i went and bought myself a triple white chocolate mocha to celebrate! and after work im gonna buy some track pants and a pair of pajamas!, the track pants are for me to go and start parkouring! or something similar... i will probably just end up going for a jog.... I actually have no clue where in Burnaby i can go that would be a fun place to Parkour in... other than the Crowded metrotown area. whatever.

Im going to be revamping my website to make it scale depending on the size of your brownser window... im sick and tired of having it 800 pixels wide.

Exciting Morning in Burnaby

After playing a good 6 hours of the new/old game i bought called Two Worlds and having a couple hours sleep i woke up to a decidingly ugly vancouver... What i thought would be a another boring walk to the skytrain turned out to be quite exciting! At the intersection of Kingsway and Royal oak i almost got hit by a car, but that almost normal for that intersection... and then when i walked past imperial and royal oak i saw some flashing lights, and turned and saw a car flipped on its side that was hit by a bus!!! Didn't seem like anybody was too badly hurt since there were no sirens at all but still it was pretty cool.

Then once i actually got to the royal oak skytrain station, for the first time this month the Skytrain cops were out in full force asking people for tickets!!!

Well i think thats enough of me talking about my boring life, im going to back to work cleaning up other people's messes...

Boring Day at the office!!!

Well it looks they have hired me a new boss.... as if things weren't slow enough already with other un-named co-workers... this company is beginning to be slown down by all the procedures and politics... Hopefully my friend (also un-named!) will get his company up and running soon so i can start to help out, i dont want to be in QA forever.

Currently i have reactivated my World of Warcraft account (Crossways on Kil-Jaeden) and am slowly but surely getting my way to lv 80... currently at lv 43, i am actually focusing more time on writing mods than i am playing the game... hopefully i will be able to release my GankAlert Mod Later on next month.

Also i picked up one of my old favorites in the EB Games Bargin box, igot two copies of Two Worlds - Epic Edition one for me and one for my brother at a paultry 20 dollars each! I have heard good things about the multiplayer in this game and the moddability, i will post more on that later.
